Most recently I was a Principal Consultant for Microsoft Consulting Services, based in Auckland. I regularly present at Microsoft and industry events (see Presentations), including:

I have authored three whitepapers and a book in collaboration with the Microsoft Prescriptive Architecture Group (see Publications).
In my last year at Microsoft, I acted as the regional subject matter expert on integration technologies, including Service Oriented Architecture, Microsoft BizTalk Server, and SQL Server Integration Services. I also work extensively with Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server.
I've been working with Microsoft BizTalk Server since early betas in 1999, and at that time I wrote some of the first training for Microsoft BizTalk Server worldwide, and also developed the first Microsoft BizTalk Server online training. I also authored several whitepapers about various aspects of BizTalk Server, and co-authored a book on Integration Patterns. I have developed and delivered in excess of 40 BizTalk Server solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand.
I works across the range of Microsoft development technologies, focussing in particular on e-business technologies. In addition to BizTalk Server, I have developed major web sites with Microsoft Content Management Server and Microsoft Commerce Server. I have has also worked extensively with Internet Information Server, Windows 2003 Server, ASP.NET and the .NET Framework, and various internet technologies such as HTTP, MSMQ, SMTP and XML Web Services.
